Progressive EMS HW-50C
Well, I have completed the installation of the EMS system in the fiver. All went pretty well. Only problem was trying to twist my old self inside all up in the basement of the fiver...geeez but that's getting tough. But, I got'er done....and everything seems to work just fine. The display is scrolling just as designed and after it finished with its start up routine, I turned the AC units on. The current draw as depicted on the display went up just as you would expect. I'm pretty happy to have the protection this thing provides, especially considering the cost of things like AC units, and LevelUp microprocessors...
My single and only critique is the size of the contactor box. It's pretty difficult to bend 6 guage wire to fit, especially on the size with the toroid coils.
That being said, good system. I hope it holds up well.
