Radio freezes up

I have a 2014 Heritage Glen 272RLIS. Several times last season, the radio froze up. Couldn't turn the power off, the volume button didn't work, but the panel was lit up indicating it was on. The sound would just cut out, no matter what buttons were pushed. On our last trip of the season, I realized that this was occurring when the gas igniter on the water heater kicked on. I happened to be standing in just the right spot, heard the igniter click, and the radio immediately cut out. It takes several minutes of pushing buttons and holding the power button to revive the radio. I haven't taken it back to the dealer as its about a 90 minute drive and its very difficult to get on and off his lot. Was hoping someone might have encountered this issue and have a simple fix.
