refer problems

i have a dometic refer dm2852 on AC freezer is -16 in the food cabinet its 34
i switch to gas and it becomes just another closet ,burner does not light ,gas valve is not opening . 12 vdc going to the board ,no 12vdc to valve
i assume its the "board" at $110.00 its cheaper to replace the board than a service call. i have checked all fuses and know my way around a VOM can any one give me direction
thanks to all

There may be an over-temp monitor that needs to be reset. It's mounted on the flue stack and is reset by pushing the tiny button in the middle of it. That might be hidden a bit so you have to look hard for it.
