refer. stops working

I have a surveyor sp240 lest than a year old. the refer went out and was repair shortly after purchased, dealer said thermo fuse was out. Went out again a few months later and refer stop working again and dealer repaired it again same problem but wanted to charge me this time. Said I can't run the refer when traveling. this doesn't seem right how do you keep food when traveling? help

Refer working while traveling

I have a surveyor sp240 and thermo fuse goes out when I use gas while traveling dealer has repaired twice but was told not to run refer while moving. Anybody else having this problem? thanks, Ron

Something just ain't right about the dealer telling you that. Most people run their fridge on propane while traveling without a problem.

If the unit is under warranty, then the dealer should not be charging you. He needs to find out what is causing the fuse to blow.
