Refrigerator compartment grill bows out

It didn't bow out until I removed the cover today to try to find out why the refrigerator wasn't running. It's now running fine, but when I put the exterior grill back on, it is bowed out at the front and a bit at the rear too. It seems to be hitting a gas line, and it doesn't look like that would be an easy fix Click image for larger version

Bump. Any ideas? I'm thinking of routing out a shallow channel on the back to accommodate the gas line.
