Refrigerator door latch

We have a 2017 Shamrock 21SS and are extremely happy with it. My question is about the refrigerator door on my brother in laws Rpod. He uses tape to hold the door closed during transport. He claims there is no latch to hold the door closed, only a magnet that is not strong enough to keep it closed while driving. I find it hard to believe that any rv manufacturer would put a refrigerator in a TT that does not latch securely. So as not to "step on toes" I haven't went in his camper myself to look at it. Thanks for any input.

I use a product for child proofing a fridge. I need two of them for the freezer and fridge portion of the unit. I have attached two pictures for you to review. These were purchased from AMAZON and works great.

I've owned several model R/V refrigerators that only had a door seal with a magnet. Yes they do exist. Glad no one's toes got stepped on!

It sure would help if your BIL sent you the make and model number of fridge.
Just saying that there's no latch isn't enough information.
I do know some small 3-way fridges may have a magnet latch.
