Refrigerator drain hose replacement

I need to replace my frig drain hose but I don't want to pull my frig out. Has anyone ever tried to pull it from the inside of the frig? If I pull the fitting out from the inside will the tube come through the hole? Is the hole large enough to feed a new hose down through it. I'd appreciate any help before I try to pull the fitting out from inside the frig.

I removed mine last week because it cracked half way up. I was able to reach up from the outside and reinstall it.

I hope the admins don't fire me as moderator for linking to this, but here goes:

Dometic Refrigerator Drain Hose

We recently had a tread about replacing the hose, and the link was posted there.....it seemed like a doable way to replace the hose.
