Refrigerator draws the battery down.

When we dry camp and everything is off WITH the exception of the refrigerator and detectors...our battery is dead by morning. The next night we shut the refrigerator off and the battery was still at 2/3'rds.... Thoughts??
Thanks.

Your fridge needs 12v to run propane side.
So that would be normal.
how old is the battery?

TURBS

Battery is two years old. We live in AZ, and I know temps are rough on car batteries.

That's what we were thinking... Someone suggested two 6 volt batteries.

Not sure what you mean... We have the option of gas or electric. It's two years old.
