Just called my GF. We are camping tomorrow so prior to leaving for my shift we plugged in the refrig and fans. That was 5 hours ago. Freezer 1 degree and refrg. 29.......thinking I may raise the temp a bit or everything will freeze.

Rain ....I have put some thought into this, I'm either going to put some type of cover or....just put the stock cover on when it does. We only have this problem during the really hot days so hopefully we won't need in the rain. And Thank You!!

Uggh...going to add a shroud like the one on the stove. Should be easy and it will keep out the rain.

I do like your mount and switch. I only wish I had that much room to mount ones like that. I have the 4 door model with ice maker and water in the door.
See Picture
Mount them above the door cutout on the wall of the camper.

theroo2, is there a reason you elected to mount the fans outside rather than inside?

They blow in, when you say mount inside do you mean inside the compartment or inside the camper? There is little or no room inside the compartment for any type of fan. I don't know if the panel on top of the refrig. is just a blank that I could cut into or not. My best reason was it's not permanent, I can just put on the other panel and the unit is back to stock.

Inside the compartment is where most folks put them, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with your idea.
