It should run on 11.9, i would be looking at the controls. is it possible the switch above the fridge is unplugged? they may have not plugged that in when they installed the fridge. Does the light work inside the fridge?

Pull off the front top panel and double check that the wire is plugged in to the board. And the small glass fuse on the control board checks out as good? If it is then the only other thing I can think of would be a bad board.

Would suspect a faulty sensor.

If your thermal fuse is opening up I would start by checking the temp of the burner and see if it should be opening or not. Make sure the burner is clean. If you can temp the thermal fuse and see what temp it is opening up that should give you your answer. If it is getting too hot and opening like it is supposed to then you might have to replace it. If it is opening when it is not too hot it could be a bad thermal fuse. Sorry could not be of more help maybe someone has better info than me.

Stop what you are doing & do this step 1st!!! Open your outside panel for the fridge. Look for the exhaust stack with is probably on the right side. Look for several wires going to the stack (probably red). In between the 2 wires is a small resetable circuit breaker. Push it with your finger & then go in and check to see if the interior light comes on when you open the door. If it does you have solved your problem. This is a common problem if the fridge is out of level & this circuit breaker prevents it from over heating & damaging the unit.
