Refrigerator Problems

Plugged in the TT this evening to get the refrigerator prepped for a weekend trip, but it won't start in Auto. I switched over to gas, and it is working just fine. This happened to me once before. That time, the problem just magically corrected itself when we plugged in at the campground. Has anyone had a similar experience with the Dometic Refrigerator? Thanks in advance for your help.
Greg

It never happened to me, but it just might be the switch did not make contact in the auto position. If if keeps up they may need to replace your controller. Remember it's a curcutt board, and any electronic mishap is possible of not making contact. If it happens again I would have them replace it. Sometimes it just a freak thing. It might never happen again I hope for you. Safe travels to you.

Are you sure it didn't just go on electric? I think if you are plugged into shore power, it will automatically shut off the gas and go electric and when unplugged from shore power it will automatically switch to gas. That's how my Norcold works.

Just as Old Coot indicated. I have a Dometic that automatically runs off electricity and it will always take electricity over propane. If the electrical does not kick in, it would have switched to propane automatically. It does take several hours for the fridge and freezer to cool down when running off electricity.
