If you have a propane/ electric fridge you can run it on propane while traveling otherwise you'd have to start gennie to run it off electric.
Which brings up a highly debated topic.
I have run my fridge for over 10 years on propane while traveling.

I have always traveled using the propane. When ever I stopped for gas my refrigerator was never near a gas pump. Has a documented fire ever started from a travel trailer refrigerator running on propane? Or is this similar to the ban on cell phone use when pumping gas because of a possibility of a fire? How can a cell phone ignite fumes?

The only time I didn't use propane for the frig while traveling was when I forgot to open the tank valve.
