Refrigerator terminology

So in my search for a good deal on a Wildwood XL, I noted that the particular model I'm looking at has either a single door fridge or a two door (RV standard) fridge. However, I've noticed a strange item in many of the options lists:

"- Double Door Refrigerator IPO Single Door"

Sometimes abbreviated as "Double Door Refer IPO Single Door"

I've reached out to a couple dealers and they tell me they have double-door refrigerators in the units in question. I'm taking their word for it, but what sort of name is "double door IPO single door"? Seems like it's saying it's both. Does this basically mean I have no way of knowing which fridge option it has from the options list?

If it has a double door fridge it means it has a one door for the freezer and one door for the refrigerator. Single door refrigerators are smaller have one door and may or may not have a small freezer section within that single door.

By the way, IPO means In Place Of. I think this answers your question.

Not really. I had already figured that part out, my question is whether the "Double door IPO Single door" item on an option list is telling me that the unit has a double door fridge, a single door fridge, or is just not telling me either way.

Is this just a generic term for "some sort of fridge with either 1 or 2 doors"?

The option reads double door IPO single door. In other words “double door In Place Of single door” The standard fridge would be a single door, the option is to have a double door instead of the single door. If the dealer is telling you their units have the double door then that’s what they have, they ordered the units with the optional double door.

The standard fridge in the Wildwood XL is a 4.3 cu. ft. single door. The optional double door fridge is probably a 6 cu. ft. fridge.

Thank you! I totally missed that IPO was "In Place Of" - that makes perfect sense of what I'm seeing. For some reason I thought it was some sort of technical terminology.
