Refrigerator vent covers-will they reduce air flow?

Will the Camco refrigerator vent covers reduce air flow to the refrigerator unit? They are used to keep mud daubers, wasps, and other insects out. I know in very hot weather it is important to keep as much air flow as possible so the refrigerator will stay cold. Any advise?

I have them on mine as most people that I talk to at campgrounds do. Any air flow decrease will be minimal compared to what insects building nests in there will be.

Their on ours,last years trip included LOTS of 100+days of travel out west. Refer & Freezer worked perfect! Youroo!!

in the top vent panel do you have a piece of wood panel coming up over a good share of it? I can't even get to the fan behind the fridge because of the wood. I am wondering if this will restrict the air flow too.

The wood is important. Don't remove it. It makes sure the air flows thru the entire fins length before exiting the vent.

OK that does make sense but how do you get to the fan to service it? I have one of those noisy fans that I want to replace. Sounds like I would have to pull the fridge out?
