Remember the days of holding the antenna

Ok, many of us are old enough to remember the days when...... if you "grabbed" a rabbit ears antenna between your fingers, you got reception, if you let go, reception went away. Been there, done that.

Had to do it again with my JACK antenna. I'm in Anaconda, MT with Over the Air reception. (The park I'm at says they cannot get cable to this location) Well, it's fading in and out. I discovered if I touched the turn handle, and "squeezed the trigger" I get reception, if I let go, it fades out.

At least it fades right out, I'm not getting that awful "pixelation." Well, sometimes it "freezes" on a scene, then then the scene and reception goes bye bye. I had to "squeeze the trigger" to watch CSI CYBER (CBS) last night! What a pain! This morning, the CBS station is coming in fine, but the NBC affiliate is not.
