Replacing Bulb in Floodlight Fixture

I hardly ever used the passenger (Wardrobe) side flood light but the bulb is burned out.

I looked at the fixture and the lens is held on by several screws and each on is in a 'well' and covered with silicone calk.

The fixture itself is screwed to the wall and is calked.

To change the bulb do I have to pry out all the calk covering the lens screws and remove the screws to take the lens off and then change the bulb or can I take the whole fixture off and access the bulb socket that way.

It would be less screws to remove the fixture and recalk it if the bulb socket is accessible from the back of the complete fixture?

PS

the dead short problem that I posted on was caused by a bulb in the ceiling fixture
