replacing tv

replacing the TV in my 2018 Surveyor 251RKS. How do I get the
existing TV off the wall mount? Is there a release I need to find?
Or just pull out on the TV and then up? Has anyone replace their TV?
Going with a smart TV.

allot of tv mounts are different. more then likely it just lifts straight up, maybe a set screw or latch to keep it from flying off during travel. gotta pull it out and get your head back there and look.

If it's like my 2017 Surveyor, there should be a nylon strap on the backside of the TV. Pull that down (1/4") maybe...it doesn't take much. While pulling down on the strap, pivot the bottom of the TV away from the wall. Then, lift straight up. It should come off with ease. And, if you're replacing your TV, you can use the existing bracket on the TV and continue using the wall mount.
