Does your display look like this pic? Is the top green led lit? If it is, turn off shore power and see if the middle led lights green. At least this will show that power is getting “to” the inverter as it should automatically switch.

I’m going to be offline for a while also. Disconnect shore power and see if the other led comes on. At least we will know ac is getting to inverter.

I have exact fridge but a much simpler inverter, thank goodness....

I saw what looked like a green wire and a white wire, romex type. What do the wire coming from the inverter look like?

My thoughts are that the stuff under the cabinet are the input and output to inverter. The video was not very clear. If you could get some good light in there and take a few clear pics it would be really helpful to decipher all the connections. Also, take some pics of all wires at inverter.

I think I have a fridge and inverter breaker, I know, I know, but are they both on in your fuse panel?

I’m sure plenty of more folks will chime in. Good luck, will check back later..

mr admiral, sorry for all you are going through. man, that video was not what i was expecting to see. i was expecting a cable coming from the inverter and terminating in a 110 outlet in an electrical box. i was then expecting the stock refrigerator power cord to be plugged into this outlet. that is not what the video shows. i'm not sure but is there a black round cable coming out of the whole going into one of those white plastics things? that could be the power cable from the refrigerator, but i am not sure. can you trace either the white or green romex type cable back to the inverter? i would expect one 110 vac cable from refrigerator to inverter (inverter output), one 110 vac cable into the inverter (shore power), and a set of 12 vdc battery cables into the inverter (battery power). i wish i could help more but i don't know what all those wires and those white things in the video are. plus why are there crimped connectors on some single wires?

Admiral, You have certainly tried to work the issue and the forum contributors have done an excellent job in providing ideas. But I think I saw that you are only about 1 hours drive from the dealer. Let them solve the problem. My dealer is 1200 miles from me. one hour is a dream.

Admiral, I noticed you have exactly the same fridge that we have in our Cedar Creek Silverback. In your video you took some footage of the thermostat control knob in the freezer and mentioned it was set to normal. Silly question, but have you physically turned that knob? As I remember the off position for that knob (fully ccw) lines up in that position. Just wondering if it is really “off” and at first glance looks like is pointing to normal setting. Just a thought...

Well, yeah its frustrating, mainly because it should have been fixed when it was at the shop to begin with. So im taking it back in the morning to have it fixed. I just hope and pray its nothing big. Even though I have an extended warranty , they just turned in a claim for the loose connections and repair and replace a fuse. So wish me luck! All of the help has been really appreciated and I tried about everything that I was told with no avail. Thanks again

Admiral,

Have you found the circuit breaker for the refrigerator, turned the circuit breaker off and back on?

If your setup is like mine there is a circuit breaker for the refrigerator, with all the other 120 Volt AC circuit breakers.

It’s more than a thermostat knob, it is an on/off switch also...

It is on wheels, take hold of the sides and roll it forward until you can see the back. You would not be the last to have a tech leave it unplugged.

It WILL NOT affect your warranty doing this.

OR, you can pack up, drive all the way back to where it was serviced and have them do the same, after waiting days=weeks or months for them to get to it
