Sandpiper 389rd when to use inverter

I have a 2017 sandpiper 389rd. I’ve been at a campsite for 16 months for my job. Probably will pull out within a month. When should I turn my inverter on if at all? Also, I have a residential fridge. Will it operate while the 5th wheel is being towed? Didn’t know if I should empty it for an 8 hour drive.

if the batteries are charged and you are hooked up to your tow vehicle leave it on and you will be fine for at least 8 hours maybe 24 or more depending on batteries.

Your Inverter must be ON in order to run your fridge. If you don't open it, it won't run very much. If you don't use the fridge then you don't need your inverter for anything.
