Just received my Tailgater today. We've been using a dish and a Tri-pod, but I have gotten sick of trying to dial everything in for HD. I was originally dead-set on not paying 500 bucks, but as price has come down, you can get them all day long for 350, free shipping. I scored a lightly used one on Ebay this week from somone who sold their RV. $232.00. I am excited to try it tonight when we go camping. My main question though is... what do people do for security? I thought of getting the ladder mount, but then some time when I back in, I'm in a nice tree'd area especially toward the back, and I would need the unit up front. We camp in places where I feel safe, and we usually even leave the bicycles outside and no one ever bothers anything, but these things are pricey and I don't want the temptation out there for someone.

Just used ours for the first time this weekend. Works great. I just wrapped a bicycle cable and lock thru the handle to the ladder. Thats my jack leg, homemade ladder mount, and in case you're wondering, thats a pizza pan it's sitting on.
