Satellite and cable hookup

We just bought a new2019 flagstaff 29rkws . Behind the tv is a coaxis jack labeled from satellite receiver, my satellite receiver (dish Wally) only has hdmi output jacks . Can anyone help explaining how this works and how to hookup.Thanks

The Wally also has RF (red/white/yellow) composite video/audio outputs and if it is impractical for you to run HDMI these outputs can be used to convert to coax and make the connection from the SAT receiver (Wally). An RF modulator is cheap (less than $15.00)) and works quite well. The TV viewing may not be HD but SD is pretty good.

Thanks Bubbles I was was planning to run hdmi cable from satellite receiver to tv. Couldn’t figure out how coaxial would work, the tv has a hdmi pluged into It already just wondering what it’s for or from, will have to wait till it’s plugged into shore power to play with and see what is what with satellite and cable.

Hi, I just had a similar issue with and HDMI cable already plugged into the TV on our new Sabre. It ran from the TV to the radio, maybe yours is the same?

I just looked at this issue yesterday. Amazon has coax to HDMI converter boxes relatively inexpensive.

What type of satellite antenna are you using? Was it factory ordered or dealer installed? I

My Wally has a coax connector. I put a coax jumper from the outlet on the wall to the Wally, then an HDMI cable from Wally to the IRV66. Made for a clean install.

As the OP stated he has DISH satellite service and a Wally receiver. The Wally is a small receiver sold by DISH, with no DVR capabilities unless you add an external SSD, which connects to your satellite dish and your television. If you have a satellite dish that is capable, the Wally will work with the dish to automatically align it to find the satellites. I use a Winegard Pathway X2 with my Wally receiver and it has worked great all across the country.
