I have used a Tailgater for Dish. But I left Dish and went to Direct so the Tailgater would not work. I set up a portable satellite dish, sometimes it worked great, most times not. I brought a Trav’ler that’s one touch and in twenty minutes or less DW is watching Direct. We take our receiver from home. I normally ask for a site without trees when I’m making reservations. It was two thousand bucks but worth every penny, DW loves NCIS more than me. After a long day driving I don’t need to be sitting up a portable satellite dish. I can have a beer or two and get ready for the next day. My Trav’ler does not work in Canada or Alaska, we went in 17
