setting up a TV in the 21ss Roo

We purchased our first camper this year and are very happy with our 2012 21ss. We have been camping every weekend touring around to different RV parks in Canada.

So we are not tech savy at all! There is nothing in regards to a manual that will help explain the different options for installing a tv, using the antenna, etc. We have a 19" Phillips television that we would like to set up so we have something to watch DVD's on if we hit a rainy patch. We DO NOT have a sattelite dish or anything of our own to hook up to for cable. The Audio System in the TT is Genesis Technologies 2.0.

A couple questions if we could....
1.)How do we hook the tv to the GT 2.0 so we can watch the dvd and have the surround sound going. What cables and which spots do we plug them into??

2.)If we did hook to the antenna would we get stations to watch?

So sorry for the "learner" questions. We are greatful for any help we can get!!!

Your pics didn't come thru for me but I'll take a stab without seeing them.

1. Depends on the audio output & input on your Phillips TV and Genesis. If you have HDMI jacks on both then that's the way to go, audio and video all with 1 cord. Otherwise you could use the RCA jacks, yellow for video, red(right) & white(left) for the audio. You won't get true surround with the RCA cords.

2. I'm assuming you have a batwing antenna. To get TV channels make sure the antenna is up(obvious) and booster is on. In the TV menu there should be a 'channel scan or search' feature. Run it and the TV should pick up watchable (closest) channels. You will probably have to rotate the antenna to get a stronger signal. Start by seeing which direction other campers have their antenna pointed. A wingman antenna attatchment will improve digital reception.
