Single cable input for sat/cable on Grey Wolf 19bh

I have only ever seen two cable inputs, one for sat and one for park cable since they use different cable. On my 2012 19bh it is clearly labeled cable/satellite. Cable works fine. There is a button near the cable jack on the wall dividing the bedroom and living space but that just switches in and out the roof top antenna amplifier.

I connected my tailgater dish antenna to the same input and it didn't work. So I wired it through the screen door and all is fine but it is an inelegant solution. Is there another hidden switch someplace.

It is just odd. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Jeffrey

There can't be any splitters between the Tailgater and the receiver. That Cable wire goes into the antenna booster control which contains a splitter.
Remove the cable input from the back of the antenna booster control (see below) and connect it directly to the receiver.

This shows how to hook the Tailgater up to the receiver and also how to connect the modulator output to see the same channel on any other TVs in the RV.

Thanks. What was FR thinking putting in a splitter and labeling the outside cable/sat. Essentially there are three inputs when you include park cable, sat and over the air tv and now I learn I can't have a splitter in the sat line.

That ceiling mounted cable splitter just won't come down. Its in there good. I don't want to ruin it. Its going in to replace a water line so I will show them your great photos.

Thanks.
