stereo too loud on lowest setting

Has anyone had a problem with the iRV Technologies AM/FM/CD/DVD/Mp3/Mp4 Unit playing too loud on the lowest setting? We just bought a new Flagstaff 5th wheel and can't figure out why the sound is so loud on the number 1 setting. Has anyone else had problems with this?

Do a search for the IR radio for the fix. They will replace it as they have had a lot of problems with this radio. I got mine replaced no charge. Later RJD

We recently traded in our 2015 Rockwood TT. It came with a IRV Stereo. It was horrible. Couldn't turn it down, and when trying to play a movie or CD the sound cut in and out. Found out that the IRV stereos were a bad batch. Our warranty paid for a replacement. Now we have a 5th wheel, and thank goodness no IRV.

I spoke to Todd Eash (sounds like Esh) about the volume problem and I had my new unit in about two days and replaced it the next day. It was a pleasure to deal with Todd and the unit is a breeze to swap out.

Radio To Loud

From the first day that we had our 2015 FR 5th I realized that there was an issue with the radio iRV66. I thought that it was way to loud on volume setting 1. Great to hear that the issue for so many has been corrected and also how quickly. I have started the process to have this fixed. Is it best to go through FR or to deal with Todd Eash? Thanks for the great info that everyone has provided. I hope that I can achieve the same results as everyone else. Cheers!

Call them direct save ya trip to the dealer. They will ask for a CC# so as to make sure you return the old unit. If you don't you will be billed for the new unit. It's easy to change out out 4 screws hold the radio. Later RJD

Radio To Loud

Thank you for that info. Just got off the phone with Todd and a new unit is on the way. He said that they have corrected the issues with the radio so here's hoping. He was very helpful and very friendly on the phone. If anyone is having problems with this unit (1RV66) I highly recommended phoning Todd to have it fixed. With all the complaints that we read on this forum and most of them are good it is refreshing to have an issue dealt with so quickly and professionally. Cheers!

Thank you for the number. We had the same issue. Todd was great, one call and he is sending a new unit.

Glad to hear that. It will be so nice (I hope) to be able to listen to the radio or whatever and not be blasted out of the trailer on just volume 1. Mine should be here this week. Hope yours works out for you. Cheers!
