Suburban furnace blower motor

I am looking to see if anyone has replaced a blower motor on a Suburban furnace. To make a long story short, my mechanic friend has determined that the blower motor on my furnace is bad. Is this something that a handy do-it-yourselfer can do? The whole furnace looks like it will slide out easily once all of the screws are removed, but I am not sure if you can get to the blower motor. I should mention that the unit is out of warranty so this repair is on me. If I need to take it in I will, but I would rather do it myself.

Any help is appreciated.

i just had mine replaced by the dealer (warranty) only used it one time, then it kept blowing fuses, took it in and they replaced it
but if i did not have the warranty i would have took it apart,
just take a few pictures as you take it apart just in case you forget something
