Suburban furnace won't do anything

I have a Forest River Surveyor 33 RETS. 2016 and tried to use the furnace for the first time this weekend. It is controlled by a Dometic thermostat of which we have two. Dealer said which ever thermostat you turned furnace on with also controlled temperature. Tried both thermostats at different times and neither would turn on the furnace. I could switch the thermostat to fan or cool and they would work. Nothing on heat. Was getting gas flow to hot water heater and to stove top. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong?

If you are still under warranty then you should contact your dealer. Otherwise, the first step to a diagnosis is to determine if it is the t-stat or the furnace. There are four wires connecting the furnace to the coach. Red is 12v positive, yellow is ground(12v negative), and two blue wires that connect to the t-stat. Make sure you have 12v at the red wire. Then connect the two blue wires together. If the furnace comes on, then the issue is with the t-stat. If you still get nothing, then its most likely a problem with the furnace.

Can you hear the fan start and hear it trying to light off? If so, then there may be air in the gas line. Try lighting the stove burners for a minute or two to purge the line.

If you don't hear the fan starting, then I'd say you probably have a thermostat or fuse problem.
