Turning that little screw under the knobs may work well for adjusting the flame height on the stove top,But turning that little screw for the oven may screw up your ovens temperature calibration. But only a certified registered Burner Adjuster would know that.

I'll be calling the '
"burner adjustment division of stove oversight " and will be asking them to double their staff to be investigating you guys. Just giving you a head start, so you can rethink your intent to fiddle with your stoves. You have been warned!
Oh, by the way, there is no statute of limitations, you watch out now.

Also curious how it affected the high side of the burner?
Since you lowered it, does it now not go as high?

Not it does not.
It's just a set stop for the knob.
Most all major brand stoves are this way, including your house stove.

No, just stick a screw driver in the electrical panel and you'll have less voltage at the stove [emoji23][emoji23]

If you want the most satisfaction, hold onto a copper water pipe with the other hand.

Makes sure the completion of the circuit path is across your heart when you do that... You won't be posting on here ever again afterwards.
Cannot remember the threshold for cardiac arrest but it is very low, like 10ma.

Well, this went from a great thread with actual useful info to a rally for supporters of Death with Dignity...

Pretty typical really but the first posts explain it perfectly. After that, it was all fun. Not a popcorn thread, but close.
At my age, my flame is low anyway. I need to turn the screw the other way....
