SV304 slide out rail

Has anyone had issues with the slideout on a 2008 Forest River sv 304
When I slid mine out to winterize part of the plasctic was in the trailer, I checked under the trailer and about a 36" piece was missing. The answer that this is worn out seems absurd as this is only a year old. Ihave posted pics that hopefully will help.
Took to the dealer for warranty and here was thier reply,
Mr. Mayer has dropped off his RV so we can look at the underside of his slide out. Our technicians can see no problems with the carriage mechanism of the slide and there are no protrusions that would increase the probability of a failure.
I have spoken with the (service manager) and he can find no reason for this failure, though he did indicate he had seen it before on other 304 model surveyors and thinks that the part has just worn out.
