Thermostat question

I have a t-stat like this:

Dumb question, what is the difference between the top and bottom numbers? One for heat, one for cooling? My last camper only had one set of numbers, but it did not control the AC like this one does.

Nothing.

It goes in increments of 5. They just put them at the top and bottom so it's easier to read rather than trying to squish them all together on one line.

So if it's between the 70 and 80, it lines up with the 75 on the bottom.

Wow...talk about a brain fart! I was really over thinking that one. To think I restored a 1972 from the ground up, replacing axels, flooring, THERMOSTAT, internal parts of the furnace, the toilet, faucets, fridge, roof rapair etc.....but yet I failed to realize it was in increments of 5.
Thanks for pointing out my ignorance! I am going to go hide in the corner.
Maybe I should have said my wife logged in under my name and ask the question.

It happens to the best of us.

You stare at a problem for so long when the obvious answer is right in front of you. Sometimes it just takes a different set of eyes to see it.
