Time Delay AC Fan

I want to install a time delay relay on my AC fan, but, the t'stat does not have separate wires for the different functions. The fan appears to have 3 possibilities. Can anyone here identify the wire I need to put the relay in from this drawing ?

Which thermostat do you have?

If it's an analog thermostat then the Brown wire is going to the fan. If it's a digital Single Zone thermostat, you're right, there's no separate wire for the fan. but there is a relay (actually two) in the control box in the A/C for the fan. Put the timer in there.

Wouldn't you delay the compressor (not the fan)?

My thinking is that it's better to delay the fan, then the larger load can start without any other loads being on. Then once it's started and running let the lesser load start.

Makes sense. Just a short delay so nothing overheats, I suppose. Sorry for the diversion. I'm no help with the wiring.

I'm thinking you have a lack of supply like a small generator or a ex cord.
These conditions are very hard on the system and can kill the compressor. My advise is to fix the supply problem rather then the mods. That being said:

I have a hard start kit on my compressor and a fan delay on the blower. The compressor comers on and the blower comes on 15 seconds later. This arangement is very hard on the system and is an impending problem.

In series to the WHT wire that goes to the fan motor. A helper or a RV servicer that knows about this would be best.
