Toshiba Tv bit the dust

My 2014 Flagstaff 832IKBS, which is still under warranty, 32" Toshiba tv quit. Is this covered under the Forest River warranty or must I go through Toshiba? I know FR said to keep the box, which I did.
Thanks

Glad you had a box to keep. We took delivery on ours 12/30/13, the TV was already installed and no box, hope it's not needed should the toshiba go on the fritz.

Not sure which one will be the quickest. Call your dealer to see what they sat, and at the same time call Toshiba to see what they say. What part of OH are you from?

We probably have the same TVs. It sounds like if installed to close to the wall they overheat. I have already installed a tilt bracket on the bedroom one and now it sits a bit farther away from the wall. I installed one in the front that also has plenty of room, but I'm worried about the living room one which sits flush against the wall.

While your experience may differ:

Unlike your car, the FR warranty covers the camper and not so much the components inside that have their own individual warranties. Some of those warranties are longer than the camper's BTW; like the roof membrane (10 years - labor not included) and the microwave magnetron (also 10 years - labor not included).

Your TV warranty may only be for 90 days; check the papers that come with it.

BTW, if they let you keep the bad TV, don't throw it out. You can get new boards and parts from ebay to fix it.

Well, it looks like our Toshiba is starting to go out. The one in the living area that sits flush against the cabinet. It was on and after a while the picture went away, still had sound, but nothing worked including trying to turn it off with the remote. I had to unplug it to get it to work again.

Now, here is my concern. I understand that it is Toshiba's warranty, but it's FR that installed it in a location that causes the overheating. I'm past 90 days from purchase so it's useless to contact Toshiba. The other issue is that the problem, for now, is intermittent. It's working perfectly fine as I type.

I think the right thing would be for FR to replace the TV and include new mounting brackets that will allow more clearance between the wall and the back of the TV.
