To my knowledge they will absolutely NOT read ipods. They will read some mp3 players but NOT ipod.
They have to pay apple to have the program installed in the radio and that doesn't make it cost effective!
only radios that have an ipod logo or ipod compatible device will play ipods. Just because it says mp3 or has a usb port doesn't mean it will play an ipod.
You have to run it through the 3.5 mm jack to make it work.
you can only charge your ipod through the usb port.
