My question about touch audio player is about NOAA. No pronlem with the unit but wonder how NOAA works. Are all the NOAA stations preset at the factory? How do I know which station to have on where?

It is all based on where you are at. There are 7 channels for the weather radio. For me at my house it is channel 1. If you don't want the weather radio to turn on when there is a weather alert, put it on a different channel. I don't know the setup for Canada.

If I turn to the radio and there is a weather alert, would the radio switch to NOAA and alert me? Or do i have ro keep it on the band?

As long as you are on the weather channel, no matter what mode, if there is an alert , it will alarm your weather radio

We changed out the TV that came with the unit and could not get the speakers to work with anything except the radio and NOAA. Removed the unit to check the wires and they were fine. Started to look into a different stereo system. Our son came and looked at it and did the reset button and now at least we can hear the DVD out of the speakers will know it they work with the tv when we get it home and can use 110v.

The Touch Audio unit is the most disappointing part of our 2012 VCross Superlite VFK27. I ordered a Jensen AWM975 and plan to install to next week. It has great features such as digital audio input and nonvolatile station presets, and I'm betting it will perform better as well.

The Touch's remote control and user's manual are nearly indecipherable to me, and I am a former TV engineer who held an FCC first-class radiotelephone license.

My Touch seemed to scan all the NOAA channels. I had it set for Channel 7 because it wasn't being used in my area, but when a watch was broadcast on Channel 2, the Touch turned itself on and played the warning. Actually a nice feature, but I had to remember to disconnect the battery when I stored the trailer. I don't yet know how my Jensen replacement works with NOAA alerts, but I will write it up when I find out.
