TV & TV booster

We are on our second Rockwood (2014 Signature Ultra Lite 8282WS) and have noticed that when we turn on the overhead lights (12v), the picture on the TV freezes. Turn off the lights and everything is back to normal. Our friends own a 2013 Rockwood 8280WS and when he turns on his 12V overhead lights, the TV has digital blocks all over and then shuts off. One tech suggested that is may have something to do with the lights affecting the TV booster. Has anyone else had this type of problem?

Yep. Seems to be an issue for sure. Mine only seems to do it when I turn the lights about the medicine cabinet on. The others in the camper don't seem to bother it.

How about putting in a different type of bulb (e.g., replace LED with incandescent)?

Yes, we've also noticed it sometimes when turning on our bedroom ceiling lights that are located near where the roof mounted tv antenna passes through the ceiling. Have noticed it especially whenever the antenna happens to be pointed in a direction that is across the tops of those bedroom ceiling lights. Haven't noticed it when turning on ceiling lights in any other parts of the camper.

Check out my post under the appliance section. Have had trouble with mine since I got it. Might not happen with one light on, turn on another, picture is gone.
Hope my other post can help.

Thanks Bob. Your several posts in that other thread are very informative. I have been out of pocket for a few weeks and had missed seeing that other thread. Thanks for your research and info!
