TV Antenna

I have a Heritage Glenn 337 BAR and the tv antenna does not have a crank to raise the antenna. Am I missing something. Does the antenna actually work ? I believe the Salem Hemisphere 337 Bar is the exact twin to the Heritage Glenn.

Do you have one of those bat wing antennas if you do they may have hidden the crank in a cabinet

I do but there is no crank anywhere. The owners manual says it is an option. Sounds crazy to me. Why have the antenna if you can't raise it and turn it.

Newer units have a fixed short rise antenna with the head on it instead of the old school metal style

Not all raise - maybe so people do not forget to put them down
