TV Antenna Booster Replacement - 2015 Surveyor Sport

I need to replace our TV antenna booster since the button on the original won't stay down. I have the replacement part (from a dealer) and want to do it myself. I removed the original booster switch plate, but cannot get to the wires underneath. Do I need to disassemble the console first to get to the wires? If so, where do I begin? Attached are photos of the original switch (still installed) and the cabinet where it's housed.
