It probably looks something like this?

I've personally never had one but I've heard that they don't work quite as well as the old crank-up style where you can rotate it to get a better signal.

My 2015 Georgetown had the same issue. We found that most of the coax cable connections were not TIGHT. We went over the whole unit, snugged all the connections, walla OTA TV and much better cable. Be sure to check behind the Booster Switch, it's the most important one in the whole system. Mine was very loose.

I'll add something. When the TV was scanning it said RF Scan and channels. It got to like 40 and it said channels found =0. I gave up and went to do something else. A min later I hear Spanish coming from the bedroom. Low and behold I had 8 channels or so. I disconnected the cable and the reception was gone. I didn't try turning off the boost/amp to see what happens after. I was surprised it said 0 channels but maybe it scans all and then says 8 then instantly shows the tv.

I'm gong to mess with it more and find out the antenna brand/model. I may also bring a tv from my home over just to test a diff tv.

Every TV scans differently.
Some still scan for VHF/UHF channels then switch to digital over the air channels. Some will run through all the different sources (analog, digital, analog cable, digital cable, etc.) and some TV's you have to actually select the source you want. Each brand has their own way of doing it and for us to say 'this is how it works' may be true for what WE have but might not pertain to your TV at all.

Did it work near a metropolitan area. If so we were traveling across tx and stopped in a small town for the night and only got 1 channel and it was Spanish.

Pretty sure if it came from the Rialto, CA plant within the last two years it is the same as the one I put in the link above. Our new Sandstorm makes the second one of those that we have had with great service from both.

I agree, but as I said somewhere up above, us short guys could never reach the ceiling in a toy hauler to adjust it. AND it is tons better than the older WineGard Omnidirectional that I had on our first Toy Hauler.

Tom,
It may be like the one you mentioned, but I cant find any model number or manufacturer information. One sticker which is almost peeled off, provides no valuable data to me.

It looks like the antenna is a LAVA RVHD-2000
https://www.amazon.com/LAVA-RVHD-200.../dp/B00K1IZQ82

They have another model, the RVHD-2015. Unknown if it is better.
https://www.amazon.com/LAVA-RVHD-201.../dp/B00HF1VQP0

Since my unit doesn't move and I am not presently at the trailer (I did go today and upgrade the TV to a 32" I got at Best Buy last night, but forgot the replacement Coax cable, so couldnt test today), I cant say if it would even be realistic to convert to one where you can move the antenna like this one which has great reviews on Amazon

I'm fighting the same issues on my WnP. I've never been able to get anything other that one local education channel and I live near Tampa. I have the TV pulled off and have checked the booster switch and connections, still nothing. Cable works fine. It's very frustrating to have no OTA channels at all.

I did two things to solve my problem with this.

1. I got a app on my phone to tell me what direction the station antennas were so I could point my antenna at them or close anyway.

2. turn on the booster switch.

I finally went through all of the tv cables. I found the antenna cable was hooked up to the wrong connector on the antenna/cable panel. But, even once I fixed it, I still only got a handful of channels and the reception was pretty bad.

For the heck of it, I got a flat antenna (looks like a sheet of paper) from Lowe's while I was there and hooked it up. After playing around with the placement a bit, I finally got around 30 channels, some of them in actual HD. So I'm going to use the new antenna and use suction cups with small hook to hang it in the window. So for $30, I have tv now. I may or may not look at replacing the saucer dish on the roof.

It took a bit of troubleshooting to figure out what cables went where. I hooked the trailer up to the cable in my house and started swapping cables around and finally figured it out. i did label all cables so I'll know if I have to go back there again.

One of the things wrong is the lousy antenna you have lots of complaints on those type. Later RJD
