Tv forgets channels

The ContinUS tv in my Sunseeker forgets all channels. It runs channel search every time I turn it on

I'm pretty sure my TV remembers channels year to year even when I unplug it at the end of the season. Although it's an LG.

I've never even heard of the brand the OP has.

did it always do that? maybe there is an auto program set to run that way?

Im with Kimber45 check for some auto program running when you start the unit

I can turn it off and immediately back on a d it still runs a channel search

No power to it's memory...like a car radio.

Most current tvs have an internal battery to remember the settings even if you turn the tv off.
Another possibility is a setting in the menu that tells the tv to do an automatic channel scan when the tv is turned on.
