TV Mount

I have a 2017 Wildwood Camper, and it has a wall with a space to mount a TV on either side (one for the bedroom/one for the living area). Do I have to have a special mount for RV's? The dealer says the spot is sturdy enough to hold a mount, but the screws in the mount I bought will surely go all the way through! Any thoughts before I proceed?

Try a stud finder. There should be a plywood backer behind the paneling that the mount can fasten too. When I mounted our tv's, I use short screws and put one in every hole in the mount you can.

Im getting ready to mount one also. I'm thinking some beefy screws too, such as 1.5" #12s.
