TV mount backer (avenger ati 27 dbs)

I have 2017 Primetime Avenger ATI 27dbs. The bedroom has coax cable and outlet for TV. However, there is no TV backer sticker. I was able to locate where the sticker was originally (by going back to dealership and looking at same model), but it does not feel solid behind it (I don't feel a stud at all). I'm curious what type of TV backer is behind there. If it is metal, then I should be using metal self tapping screws. Or, is it just wood screw? And, how much weight will it hold? Why is this not in owner's manual!

I figured it out, and thought I would just reply to my original post in case someone reads this in future.

First, I needed to understand if there was a metal plate behind the wall. I purchased some strong magnets at HD and found out there is not. So, I assumed wood studs would be there.

I drilled a small pilot hole (with smallest drill bit) into the spot that I wanted to mount the TV. There was not resistance and I didn't hit anything (be sure the drill bit is short so you don't drill through the wall on the other side). I dropped 2 inches lower and tried again but this time I drilled into solid wood. I used 2 lags screws (I had to purchase a shorter version at HD) mounted the TV as instructed.
