You might have misunderstood what I meant in my last post. Ha! I had no issue with what you wrote. I understood it. "Take the TV into the house to check it." OP took a house TV into the trailer.

If the house TV works on the house antenna system, taking it to the trailer does not prove whether the trailer antenna/coax system is good. If the failed trailer TV is truly bad, it will not work in the house with a good house antenna/coax system. OP said he took a good TV and tested it in the trailer and it failed. Now we still don't know if it's the trailer antenna/coax system or the TV in the trailer.

While there are certainly some unknowns (like maybe multiple failures) one thing is fairly certain: the RV over the air antenna system (cabling etc.) is bad.

bubbles, here's a public confession (you may not see too many of these, especially from me!): I'm sure I'm older than bob c. since I have just spent time figuring out that my head is working on a different problem that is called out in this thread. My head is working on a problem where only one TV failed in a unit... and the problem is ==> I can't even find that thread. As a site team member who reads hundreds of threads/posts, I can only assume I have created a new problem in my dreams and have tried to solve it here in this thread. Maybe I'll find that other thread, maybe I won't. I'm sorry for the diversion. Carry on.

No side bets, Bob. I wouldn't be able to remember what I owed you. Just to render myself explicit, I'll be 70 in 2 months.

Seriously welcome to the forum....
If I have a question or issue I will 1st use the search to try and find an answer. I had asked in another antenna thread before starting this one.
If I can help just ask away....

The thru the roof fixture appears to have leaked and corroded. Its replaced and I now am getting 34 OTA channels.....
EXCEPT.....the original station channels I was getting before when it was broke?????

Good deal...
Have you tried the wingman add on, or did the antenna already have one?

I'm 120 miles west of Phoniex, and just added one as an experiment...Had 27 over the air, now have 30.... For a few of the 27, had to fine tune antenna....Now I don't...

Since 3/4 of our stations are above 13 Its probably a good investment.
