Tv signal degrade to zero
Our TV signal degraded to zero. There is supposed to be 12 volts at the antenna end of the cable, we had nothing. Pulling the sealer off the spot where the cable goes through the roof we found a connector under a rubber boot corroded top and bottom. The sealer the factory used did not seal the boot to the cable. Moisture built up under the boot and corroded everything.
We took everything apart, replaced the connector, the upper cable and the interior cable end. Instead of placing the connector at the roof line, as the factory did, we extended it to the inside of the camper where it will stay dry.
