TV Slide Ajustment

Okay, here in my opinion is a question that could possibly stump the majority.
I just purchased a new 2016 Signature Ultra Lite 8325SS, with the tv popping up from the entertainment unit over the fireplace in the rear of the trailer. The entertainment unit goes completely across the very back of the unit, for those not familiar. I need the tv to come up a additional 1/2 in. to a inch so that the remote control can be used without standing right in front of the tv, holding the remote in the air pointing down to the senor on the tv.. The tv senor is not raised enough so that the remote can be used normal. Ok, that is the question, any help would be welcomed, other than drive the trailer over two hours back so the dealer can do it. Who knows maybe that is my only option.

Raise the TV on the mount by 1-1/2". Use a 2x4 or other piece of dimensional lumber to get it up there.

It has to be strictly a slide issue. Any reposition of the mounting on the support would keep the top of the tv from being level once it is return to the down position.
