Has anyone managed to accomplish getting TV sound to come thru their entertainment system speakers?

Turn your TV & sound system on. Keep pushing the "MODE" until you see "TV Sound" on the screen readout. You should now have sound thru your sound system. Be sure to turn off your outside speakers ( mine are button #3) or you'll be blasting the TV sound outside and your neighbors may not be watching the same program your watching. On my system, you MUST have some level of sound coming out of your TV speakers as your sound system is amplifying your TV sound. No sound out of TV, no sound out of your sound system. You can play with the sound levels on both to get the sound to where you like how it sounds.

Thanks so much, but that does not accomplish it. I have "source" then "aux 1" and "aux 2". The rest are your usual "fm," "DVDs" etc.. No "TV"
Thanks again.

Mine is aux 2. Sometimes I have to turn the sound system off and on again after I select aux 2

In the stealth, someone in that forum told me that he had to run a 3.5mm mini stereo cable from the headphone output on the rear of the TV, back to the stereo headunit input. After that it would have TV sound through speakers. Not sure if that applies to yours.

Thanks. I believe I have figured it out. Georgetown did not run an "audio out" cable from TV to the theater system. As it is all wired behind wall, I have to externally run a RCA cable between them..... Unless I can find a 4 point audio cable extension (2 audio in and 2 audio out ) to run off the internal audio cable .
Thanks again.

Stealth once again... it is behind the wall and the guy who did it on his 2016 said it was easily fishable through the wall. not difficult like expecting to do it in a home without some drilling in firewall studs, etc.
