TV upgrades

Hello, We bought our first trailer a few months ago and after watching the TV, we've found it to be poor quality with horrible sound. It's a brand I've never heard of- Summit
Has anyone upgraded their TV to one of the more well known brands like Samsung or LG?

Yep. Have replaced televisions in several units with larger screens and better brands. Unless you are looking for a TV that can use 12v, any TV will work, so buy what you want that fits.

Many have upgraded the OEM tv's. Any tv you choose will be fine unless you have to have a 12v tv. That will limit your choices.
Our OEM tv wasn't a smart tv. Replacing it with a Vizio smart tv allows us to stream shows from our Dish dvr.

I jus put in a westinghouse 24" LED/DVD combo from Best buy for $149....Oddly enough the same TV in 32" is only $129?! I purchased the 32" because daaaaa.... But after putting it in place it was jus to much TV for the space and the 24" came in at like 4.6lbs.... [emoji16]

Yep, replaced two 12 v units inside. One with a Samsung smart tv and the other with a Visio smart tv. Both work for Netflix etc. now.

Only major item is they are now 110v instead of 12 so no watching unless have the generator running or plugged in. Not a big deal though.

Be sure to actually view any TV you are considering purchasing from the angle that it will be viewed while you are in the RV as some of the lower cost models have very poor viewing angles.
