Unhappy Unable to turn TV volume up

My Jensen TV's sound is difficult to hear even when turned up to the max volume of 100. Does this have to do with the fact that it is a 12V/110V rather than a straight 110V? I have the same problem with the TV in my trailer. In order to hear the sound, I have to plug in my BOSE mini speaker and turn off the TV's speaker. Anyone have the same problem?

Sounds like a personal problem - take it to a repair shop

Don't know if this applies to your RV set up? I have Jensen radio/DVD player and TV in my TT. When Air Cond is running, the TV volume doesn't suit, so, I run a connector from the TV headphone output to the radio/DVD Aux input. I then get TV sound through the ceiling speakers.

Sounds like I may have a personal problem also. . I have 3 sets in my RV (w/the outside one) and sound level is barely adequate. (Mine are 110V only) I think this is getting to be typical with newer TV audio output since most people (in the home) use aftermarket audio system amps. In the home mine would be ok, but with a gen working etc......

Yep. A/C really drowns out the sound from the TV.

When I return home from my vacation, I will install a permanent aftermarket sound system to boost the sound.

Send a message via Yahoo to bob caldwell
Also depends on where speakers in tv are mounted and their size. Some are on back, some on bottom, few on front...might be able to Google your tv to find out.

If you have the Jenson dvd set up like mine, I would check for rca jacks to connect to it. The red and white rca jack should go to output of back of tv to the Jenson dyd system. Then use the volume control on the dvd stereo system, because at that point the tv volume on mine does not help anymore.

I have the same problem with my 12V Jensen TV when the A/C is on. I noticed it also depends on the channel (air), maybe cable is better.
