Wall studs for TV mounting

i really want to wall mount my TV but have been unable to find any information on where the studs are in the walls. I tried using a stud finder (no jokes please) some mfg will give you a snap of what the inside looks like before they put up the walls but can't seem to find this on the FR site. I have a 2015 T21RBS. Any help is appreciated.

I just went through this same issue. Is there a sticker on the wall for the tv mount.

If you can find the staple holes (they will be filled with putty), there will be a stud behind it. Easiest way I've found to mount things.

FR dealer told me that all Forestriver studs are just like a house, 16 on center. Most use metal beams so use the short stubby metal screws.

I have a sticker where there is backing plus the outlets. If you are trying to mount it else where. The inside wall is like 1/8" thick. you can put pressure with your hand and just push on it. you will find the metal stud. Some walls may only have 1 or 2 studs not like a home on 16" centers. That's why they mark it with a sticker they put wood backing in that area. I know that contradicts what Scootdawg just said, but I know the only studs in my slide wall are around the cut outs for windows.

I had a outlet on the wall I was mounting my TV on. Pulled the face plate off and located the stud that way. There is supposed to be a backer board installed in the wall where you TV can be mounted with a sticker. I tried the stud finder trick but that was useless. In the past I have tried to find anything on the build of my camper and have even called the factory and talked to a supervisor on the floor who said the plans didn't show recent changes that had made to the floor plan on my model. It will probably be hit or miss.

Some have more than one type of stud finder. Good luck!

Thanks to everyone for the advise. I do have a small wall with a lot of media stuff on it. Seems like the logical place for a TV mounting. Wish FR would have provided a sticker. Oh well what fun would it be if it were easy.

How about those of us that don't have a sticker, but have a cable outlet? Any ideas?
I have a 2015 32qbbs and want to put a tv in the bunk house for the kids.

Yours look easy, You have a plug and coax there already Pull the coax box, get a mirror and a flash light to shine on the mirror and take a look around. Your going to have the backing somewhere close. Remember the inside skin is only 1/8" thick, you can cut a whole in the cheap stuff with a box knife. So I would be looking for the backing. It would be my guess it's by the outlet. More then the coax end All that should be hidden behind the TV. But remember this is FR and nothing is the exact same on the same model unit even. Shouldn't be hard to find.

If that's an interior wall, the backer to mount the TV is probably wood and should be fairly easy to find. If it's an exterior wall, the backer is probably galv. sheet metal and I've been told that you can locate it using a magnet.
