What does this switch operate?

I recently purchased a 2012 Forester 3011DS. I cannot figure out what the rocker switch on the wall between the stove and the refrigerator operates. It looks like a light switch, but all the lights are operated by other switches. Any help would be appreciated.

Does your TT have the winterizing package ie, 'holding tank heaters', mine has this switch which also has an indicator light on the switch plate to show when it is on.

There are no labels or indicator lights, just looks like a 12V light switch like those that turn on the lighting over the sink.

I do have the polar pack heaters but surely they would put an indicator light on it and label the switch. I assumed the switches for the heaters on the holding tank were under the master bed. I will check that out tomorrow.

Turn on all your lights and see if it turns any off. If not, could be anything.

Had one like that on a Jayco product we owned.....would turn it on...off..on..off...on...off...nothing....finally was told it turned on an outside light on the back side of the camper to light up the area by the water, sewer, and electric hookups....I'm sure my neighbor thought I was nuts with that light coming on, then off, then on, then off....

I'm not familiar with your model but does it have slide out with the fridge in it? I just had a switch installed on mine in a similar location because my fridge has a noisy fan and I wanted to be able to tun it off.

Don't assume they would label the switch. The switches on my control panel are labeled BUT the lighted tank heater switch above the panel is not labeled nor are the 2 12 volt light switches under it nor is the single large flat 110 switch under it (operates the ceiling fan). It has been my experience that 12v switches are smaller and protrude and 110 switches are house sized and flat. I'd look for something on the 110 side - meaning it would only have any effect if you're on shore power or a generator.

BTW, I only have 1 switch which operates ALL tank heaters simultaneously.

Could it be a light in a storage compartment?

We have a 2012 Lexington that is equipped with a switch positioned at the same place on the wall. It is a DPDT switch that allow you the choice of using the AC in the "up" position OR the microwave in the "down position. This way, you would never exceed 30 amps of demand; what I believe is the grade of the power panel of your rig.

Have look that way and good luck.

I do not have the polar pack, just the documentation. Polar pack switch has a blank in it on the master switch panel and I find no heating pads on the tank. I have turned on all the lights and turned the switch off, nothing. I have looked outside for any possible lights operated by it, nothing. It is definitely a 12v switch but perhaps to an optional piece of equipment I do not have. If anyone has a 3011DS class C let me know if you can shed any light on the function. Until then I will keep it in the off position. Thanks for the ideas and comments.

ligh switch

I have a switch on the wall panel that's labeled kitchen light, but doesn't control anything. Light controled by rocker switch on light itself

I have an unmarked switch in my 5'er and it drove me crazy truing to find out what it was. Turns out it turned on a Night Light under the Island that was not visible as I was turning the switch on and off. Try looking for a night light under the cabinets somewhere...

I have a rocker switch in my hallway for a dim light to light up the inside steps at night. You might need to wait for darkness to find out.
