What to replace my Concertone with

Ya, the thing has been horrable from day 1, what can I replace it with. I have 2 external speakers, 2 speakers in the beedroom, 5 speaker surround in the living area, 2 speakers in the garage, it is suppose to send a signal to a 19" LCD TV in the bedroom or in the garage, and ity is suppose to be a DVD player as well. It was tough to deal with from day 1 and just never worked well and it has stopped working all together now. So what can I get that will still work all the speakers??

Here is what I did. There are other alternatives as well. The Jensen works great and is made for RV installation. No surround sound though.

I had that exact same unit in my previous TT - had good luck with it - mind you we traded in after a year. Not surround but I am not camping for surround

Glad to hear all of these reports, as this is the unit in my new 5er that I pick up this weekend... I hope it supports what I am going to want to do with it. I hope to attach an AppleTV to stream video and audio to from an iPad. All of our TV will be streamed from the iPad using a SlingBox HD at home.

Real Campin...

All I have is an old fashoned sattilite dish LOL. All I am interested in is getting some music in the trailer again. Nothing better than listening to some tunes while enjoying a few adult beverages around the fire. We dry camp alot in random camping areas with no neighbors, so noise is usually not an issue.

In my fiver It came with a Pummel Drive sound system ,it ate my fav CD and will not give it back. The good wife loves to watch to watch movies . In my Fiver ,a Jensen will not fit .Concertone with a little mod will fit. But I don't want to spend BIG MONEY for a system that breaks down alot , and like you I'm not sure what I can do to replace our P.O.S. Pummel Drive with very low wattage ,with a Better Sound System.. I am thinking about taking my Forest River Flagstaff to an Auto Stereo installer and having the Concertone replaced. Has anyone done this? What about replacement units that offer Sirius Satellite reception? My Concertone will not reduce the sound. It only goes up and stays up. Not a very well designed or built unit and very overpriced.

I had a question with the Jensen Unit. Does it have an option to switch between Video sources? What I mean is can I channel the TV's audio through it? Reason I ask is because I don't use an LCD TV. I use a COMPUTER LCD that has RCA Video INPUT, so I grab the SOUND and VIDEO from a DIGITAL converter BOX So I would need the JENSEN unit be able to take input from an RCA source. Will it do that?
